An African Adventure:  Researching Death on the Delta with Sherry Knowlton.

Join suspense author Sherry Knowlton as she talks about her newest Alexa Williams novel, DEAD on the DELTA, and the research involved in writing this suspense thriller set in Africa. Although Knowlton had traveled to several African countries in the past, she and her husband spent a month in Botswana’s Okavango Delta and nearby game reserves to research this novel. She also spent time in the wild with a lion researcher. Knowlton will talk about the importance of research for fiction novels, her safari experiences, and the work of WildCRU’s Kalahari Predator Program in conserving lion populations in Botswana and Zimbabwe. She’ll also show some of the photos that she and her husband have taken while on safari. Copies of DEAD on the DELTA will be available for purchase.
